About Albert Collins

Meet one of the true legends of blues guitar, Albert Collins. Hosted by GIT's blues expert Keith Wyatt, this DVD is packed with everything from Albert discussing his tuning, use of the capo, influences, and lots of great "down home" playing.

You'll learn many of Albert's licks, unique rhythms, and how he uses his thumb and fingers to achieve those soulful, funky sounds. Then, sit back and enjoy Albert doing what he does best - playing 'live' at Hollywood's Musicians Institute.

It would have been nice to see how to set up a guitar the way Albert Collins set one up. I don't really care about how to play Albert Collins in standard tuning...and why would anyone care, it's hardly necessary.

Way too much Keith Wyatt talking and way too little of Albert Collins relating to the viewer how he plays. A real dissapointment. November 2, 2007

Albert Collins is one of the legend of Blues artist. His performance and his attitude are among the best that make him. It seems that he deserve more popularity than what he is having. I always love and respect the humble musician like him. January 9, 2007
