rikki tikki tavi

I am 37, and remember watching this on network TV as a child. I remember it being the coolest thing ever when I was about 7. I now have a three year old daughter and we watch it together a couple of times a month. It is a great story and really brings back some very fond memories and has also allowed me to make some new ones. Highly reccomemded. November 19, 2008

Uncomplimentary mix

Rikki Tikki Tavi is a skillfully written and playfully entertaining story of the rivalry between the two cobras and this adopted mongoose. It is another great short story based upon the works of Rudyard Kipling.
To be sold together with the corny, barely entertaining short cartoon film of little substance or value is disappointing to say the least. If this short film is needing of a complementary story, something more related in story-line or quality ought to have been chosen.
Rikki Tikki Tavi is worth the purchase, but waste not your time on this DVD's excuse to fill up space. October 11, 2008

Cool animation for adults and children

I liked this adaption of the Rudyard Kipling story. Orson Wells does a great job of narrating this tale of a pet mongoose who faces two cobras to defend his family. Might scare some young children. Good animation.

This is my favorite movie ever made i've looked for it for years and finnaly found it. It is great for children to watch. I have 2 kids myself even though one's 14 and the other is 10 they both fell in in love with it too. March 25, 2008

Mongoose movie

I loved this show as a child and looked forward to watching every Thanksgiving. It was a small let down only because I didn't remember it and it is so childish. I did like Yankee Doodle Cricket that is on the same DVD. February 15, 2008
