An absolute must for every Shadow fan.
This DVD does include almost every "tophit" of this group from the end of the fiftees and later in the perfect style as we used to hear from Hank Marvin,Bruce Welch,Brian Bennet and the rest of this group.
The DVD does show the group playing "live" in the UK (the final tour) and
an interview with Hank Marvin,Bruce Welch and Brian Bennet.
Especially lead gitar player Hank Marvin did impress me due to his simpleness in his explanations and in his personality, this time in the "focus" instead on the background, were he used to show up.
British Gentlemen..was my impression.

As a big Shadows fan dating back to the sixties I found this to be a good DVD. Fifty years on, their sound is still as good as ever. This is a very enjoyable concert to see and listen to especially in DTS. This is a have to have DVD for any music collection. A real foot tapper!!?? go "Apache" The Bonus feature has an interview with Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch and Brian Bennet which is very interesting as you hear their comments on starting up joining Cliff Richard and how the band went through some turbulent times etc but were still able to carry on. With a total time of 180 minutes this DVD is geart value. March 8, 2008

rating: 5 QuoteFantastic, Great concert, Great Music of the 50's & 60'sQuote
It is excellent to listen and view 'The Shadows' play again. I fully enjoyed their music and had watch it a dozen times since I bought the DVD 2 months ago. I have recalled more than a dozen numbers that I had listened during the 60's during my school days. To date, I have purchased another 6 copies of this DVD as presents for my friends who envy great music.
I realise from 'The Final Tour', the majority of the audience are younger fans who fancy the music of the yester years. Highly recommended. Will vote a 6 star if there is. October 7, 2007

An excellent concert by the original Shadows covering the complete history of their music presented as close as possible to the original recordings. Not only were the arrangements original but they changed guitars to match those used on the recordings. Three hours of great music. A great value. May 23, 2007
