User Reviews
Average user review:These are amazing films and great editions. Not only do they have very entertaining and informative commentaries for each film there are loads of documentaries about the production and the process of turning the books into screenplays. As a fan I love this DVD set and recommend that if you are going to buy the trilogy do it this way. You get more for your money and it is defenitley worth the price!! May 11, 2008
Extended Edition Well Worth It!!
I first bought the normal 2-disc Lord of the Rings and loved them, but I wanted more. The solution? The extended editions! With A TON of extras, it was well worth it for me. May 9, 2008
Best movies ever.
This product needs no review. The title speaks for itself. One Trilogy to Rule them all. April 23, 2008
The Greatest Movies and Books Ever Created
Best movie and books in this gene. Too bad Amazon web site is not fully compatible with Firefox, then I could see the pictures and rate this at the 5 stars it should be. April 10, 2008
The content speaks by itself
The movie speaks by itself. The extended edition presents many new scenes that will delight you.
One drawback is that for Spanish speakers, the first movie (The fellowship of the ring) has NOT subtitled in Spanish.
The additional material as always is very good. April 6, 2008
