Uhh, ok. Am I the only reviewer who found this movie to be extremely weird/disturbing. Don't get me wrong-it was everything a movie should be: funny, scary, and bizarre-not at all like anything I've ever seen before. However, be warned, this movie seriously GOT TO ME. I don't scare easily but there were some scenes in the movie that seriously creeped me out that I couldn't shake. This isn't your typical horror movie-it delves into the deepest secrets of families and is at times disgusting (not gore wise) and INTENSE. Watch and you'll see what I mean. May 21, 2008

I absolutely love this movie. I recommend it to people all the time. You really have no idea what's going on throughout the entire film, and then the end is a huge suprise. It has a cheesy moment or two, but you quickly forget about them as soon as the next thing happens. This is NOT your typical, predictable thriller! This is NOT buxom blondes running from serial killers. This movie is, for once, something new and different. April 3, 2008

But since you're curious...This was darn good soup! Great horror flick. The Journey of the Doomed is what it was (my term). The gore is mostly implied. Doesn't matter. The plot and acting get the point across just fine. Lots of shock moments, lots of tension, lots of despair as the hoplessness of their situation grows clearer. Somewhat predictable here and there but good stuff for a Friday night. I recognized the mom but couldn't place her - she was the landlord in Kingpin. I always wondered what she looked like in real life. Ray Wise always satisfies. I like anything he ever does. I think it's because of the bond I developed with him in the Twin Peaks series. The son needed a slap and cracked me up continuously. This movie is creepy, disturbing, and fun. March 29, 2008

This is a great flick that you can't say much at all about without spoiling it...but I thought the ending wrapped it up quite nicely. It caught me by surprise, which it intended...Obviously not the case for some, which is too bad because that was what made it so good. Very well done in my opinion! March 8, 2008

I am so glad I got to see this movie, and the only way I did was because I was searching my on demand stuff on cable and it sounded interesting. I can't belive there was no promotion or buzz or anything on this. It truly was scary and not really gory and not really predictable; at least I think so. If you want a good scare I reccommend this!
