About MTV - Viva La Bam - The Complete First Season

Based on the premise of reality television, VIVA LA BAM centers on the fanatical and often extreme life of pro-skater Bam Margera and his fascination with amusement at the expense of his family and friends. With an almost contagious energetic persona, Bam is able to instigate his friends into lavishly planned tricks plotted against his loved ones. From turning his parents' house into a skate park to putting an alligator in his mother's kitchen, catastrophe and emotional abuse has never been so funny.

Ok If you have seen the show Jacka$$ on mtv , you have mostly likely seen the bits they done with Bam Margera & his dad mostly some times his mom as well.
Bam has got himself a show of his own now called Viva La Bam . In his show on mtv is about like his Jacka$$ days but alot more funny. He still gives his dad a hard time , mom and oh ya Vito. You do see alot of his friends in this video , alot of them are from the Jacka$$ show and some are not.
Bam really does some crazy stuff in his show , like in one he is driving his car down a highway and desides to stop and pull over and cut out a sun roof in his highly priced car-( On a different dvd set for Viva La Bam wich can be got from Amazon. )
There are so many funny things to be listed for Viva La Bam , but think i would run out of room listing all the crazy things that goes on in this show. What i can tell you is if you liked Jacka$$ and some of the things Bam Margera did or just need some good laughs . I would sell well this Complete First Season DVD package is well worth the money.
Also even after getting all the Viva La Bam dvd's and have seen them all. They are still worth watching over or at any time your in need of some good laughs.

Fans of Jackass might be looking for something to entertain them after seeing all of the episodes of that particular series, and might be tempted to pick up Viva La Bam, since it stars Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, and several other Jackass alumni.

Be warned however, Viva La Bam is like a cousin of Jackass, and not really a descendant. Where Jackass concentrated on pranking others and stupid stunts, most of the fun in Viva La Bam in centered around Bam messing with his family, or people messing with each other. You end up really liking the people in Viva La Bam because it centers around them, and overall its much less mean spirited then Jackass.

Its a great pickup if you want something kind of like Jackass and like that style of humor, but just don't go into it thinking its another Jackass. There are a few flat moments that cause it to fall short of 5 stars, but overall if you like this type of show, you should enjoy Viva La Bam. January 15, 2007

This is one funny dvd! I haven't laughed so much since I don't know when! What a crazy gang, and Don Vito is hilarious - I laugh everytime I see him!! If you like these kind of shows this is a must have! October 4, 2006

Do I hate this show? No. Do I like this show? I am not sure anymore. This show got a little old after owning seasons one, two and three. When I was told that it wasn't a good idea to buy this on DVD it turns out this show stood on the shelf for a while. Bam should be more concerned about his family than himself. He probably only destroyed his parents' house to make money and entertain us with this show. I saw season five on TV and I wasn't entertained as much as the other seasons did. When Johnny Knoxville showed up I thought it was hilarious. Bam got popular being a pro skater and also got fame with Jackass a show that rocks more than Viva La Bam. He can do whatever the **** he wants just to get more money. I can't wait to see the next upcoming Jackass movie. Viva La Bam makes Jackass look bad. Jackass isn't bad. A show that can get old after a while. Entertain yourself while it lasts. August 9, 2006

Jackass was a great show, and if you haven't seen it - buy it now! Viva La Bam is simply lame in comparison. It's not funny at all, and neither is Bam. He is supposedly a pro skater, but does nothing that any average kid can do on a skateboard.

It's almost sad when he & his drop out Jackass crew are trying to make stupid jokes look funny, & laugh hysterically - it doesn't work. There is large part of an episode where they cover their house with lights (4 trucks worth), for Christmas. Nothing funny about that. Majority of all skits consist of his parents as victims. Don't know how they put up with it (guess money goes a long way).

Do not buy this, specially if you've seen Jackass, as it'll make it seem even worse. April 11, 2006
