Pee Wee II as good as the first

My son watches these over and over. Not sure why. I like them, and the content often has double-meanings for the entertainment of adults, but there's just something in the atmosphere of this show, the details, the energy, that please him to no end. These five discs include the last two years or so of the PW Herman Show, the format of which kept changing, but never the spirit. Pee Wee II is slicker and more complex, but it's as good as the first five-disc set, maybe better. June 24, 2008

not for everyone

not everyone can appreciate Pee Wees humor. At least there
are a few seasons available for his fans.If Hollywood
blacklisted everyone with minor offenses as Paul Reubens

Classic Pee Wee! With all the choices on TV, Cable and Dish today, my kids (6 & 8) just love to watch these shows! They'll choose Pee Wee over Bratz! It's great to see Lawrence Fishburn in some corney outfits as Cowboy Curtis. There's also guest appearances by Sandra Bernhard and Jimmy Smitts in other episodes. I haven't seen 'em all yet, so I'm sure there are other special guests!
So, come on in and pull yourself up a chair ~ like Chairy! Let the fun begin, it's time to let down your hair! January 8, 2008

very entertaining and very educational too

I am so excited to be able to share a show that I watched as a child to my children. Both my daughters(ages 5 and 2) love Pee Wee's Playhouse!! They are obsessed and want to watch it all day long. For those who have never seen it, it is a great show that is not only very entertaining to watch but very educational as well. He covers lots of topics such as manners and treating others nicely. It is nice to be able to go back and rewatch these shows that i watched saturday mornings with my sisters and to be able to share them with my girls! We already owned seasons 1 and 2, now i have purchased 3-5 seasons for my daugters as a christmas gift.. so i am anxious for them to get it! September 11, 2007
