Ned KellyI very much enjoyed this movie starring Heath Ledger who just very recently passed away. It was great to see him in one of the few movies I had not seen before. I really enjoyed the action and enjoyed watching both him and Orlando Bloom. I think others would enjoy this movie also. April 12, 2008
Great memory of Heath Ledger
I thought this movie was very good and will be a good memory to the honor of Heath Ledger. He did a great job portraying Ned Kelly. This is the kind of movie that I could watch more than once. It is so sad to see how much Ned Kelly was mistreated and pushed into doing what he did. I would definitely recommend this movie. April 10, 2008
Great movie
As an Aussie, I grew up learning about Ned Kelly along with all the other Bushrangers but with my kids growing up overseas, I am always looking for ways to keep them in touch with their Aussie roots. This is, unfortunately, not a movie for young kids so mine haven't seen it yet but it will remain in my collection for when they ARE old enough. In the meantime, my husband and I enjoyed watching it. I liked learning more about this colorful character from our rich history and my husband really enjoyed the movie too. April 1, 2008

As usual......
Heath Ledger gives a performance that is so real, so genuine and so meaningful, that you actually think you are watching the real Ned Kelly, even if you knew nothing about him before seeing this movie. Another reminder of losing one of the most incredible actors of this lifetime, all too soon. The film itself is interesting, and almost unimagineable at times. At times, the story is told in somewhat general terms, and so some of the detail missing makes you have to think about what would have happened or could have happened to these young men. I would recommend seeing it for the interesting, sad, heartwarming and unfortunate life story of Ned Kelly, but more than that, if you are a fan of Heath Ledgers, will not be disappointed.
