The DVD is in full screen only, but the picture is acceptable. The 2.0 mono sound is quite clear. Not bad for a budget DVD. Collectable. May 13, 2007
Beautiful Movie
It's set in some small wintery town with lots of forests around, the local diner, a cozy big old lodge, etc..
It's also set in the dead of winter so there's a lot of snow around.
Snow and wintery conditions have the ability to create a sort of mysterious atmosphere for movies such as in "The Shining" and "The Thing".
It's like the environment itself becomes a major player in the movie.
Add in the two beautiful girls and a very intriguing story and you've got all of the ingredients for a great movie.
The image on the cover of the dvd looks like the god Vulcan who is the god of fire. This ties in with the story since we can see the mysterious hand of fate working behind the scenes and far beyond human comprehension.
One of my favorite things about this movie was the song they play during the closing credits. "One More Kiss Dear" or something like that.
There was a lot of great music around before rock and roll even existed.

BACK IN THE FRYING PAN
Dirk is reluctant at first but a series of events leads him to accept the challenge but things aren't quite what they seem. The movie is lethargic at times, but it's clever plotting and twists make it worthwhile. January 21, 2006
Had to see it, just to rate it
Actually from the cover of the DVD and the story line, I thought this might be a werewolf movie. Wrong!
The photography was good at times and then bad. I got the feeling that it was either hit or miss from the director's chair on this one. Rent, don't buy. August 13, 2004
