rating: 5 Great!
I love it! The animation is not quite I remember as a child. It brought back good memories. Thanks! April 29, 2008

rating: 5 As great as you remember!!
This show is just as wonderful as I remember. I have to admit that I was a little afraid to watch the show after all these years and be dissapointed--but I was not! The cheesy special effects just add to the show's charm. I have 2 boys-- 10 years old and 5 years old and we watch the show together and they love it! A whole new generation of fans! March 12, 2008

rating: 3 The Land of the Lost-1st season
It was fun to show my kids the way television used to be when I was a kid. December 9, 2007

rating: 4 It's so bad that it's good
My 4 year old is way into dinosaurs and the stuff that is out there is either to adult (Jurassic Park) for him to watch, or too boring and stupid (Land Before Time) for me to watch with him.
I purchased season 1 last week. As I was about 4-6 while the show originally ran, I didn't know what to expect and only had fuzzy, dreamlike memories of the sleezstak's etc.
To put it mildly, the show is really really bad. Bad acting, bad writing, bad effects. HOWEVER it is still really good in some weird way and I'm amazed at all the stuff that I actually remember, scenes, plots, etc. So for me it's fun to watch just to put all of those pieces of the puzzle together. For my son however, its an absolutely great show. He loves the Grumpy and other dino's. He loves to be scared by the sleezstaks, and is amazed by the giant fruit and how bad Cha Ka's teeth are. I can watch him veiwing the show and realize that he is reacting exactly like I did almost 30 years ago. Sorta cool. August 13, 2007

rating: 5 My fav show as a child....
... I was so stoked to see it on DVD. I bought it a few years ago, watched a few episodes and put it away. My children are into dinosaurs now and I busted it out for them... they TOTALLY love it. Yes it's camp, yes the special effects aren't special... but you gotta love this show. The story lines are unique and I still to this day find it highly entertaining (as well as my 6 and 8 yr old). Just got season two. June 27, 2007
