Average user review:I really liked this movie as a kid, and the Harry Nilsson songs still stay pleasantly on the brain ("Me and My Arrow," "This Is the Town and These are the People," "Think about Your Troubles," etc.). This little film teaches a great lesson that it's okay to be different, as little Oblio learns to live in a pointed world with no point on his head. My 9-year-old proclaims the graphics "too cartoony," and it's true that they can't keep up with today's Pixar studios, but it's still a nice addition to a home library of children's movies. For the adults, pick up a copy of Nilsson's "The Point" soundtrack or download some of the songs online. The music definitely stands the test of time. April 25, 2008

Long lost piece of American history unearthed!
I was spellbound by this made for TV special when my family and I watched it in the 1970s. It was mindblowing for television at the time. Ringo's narration and Nilsson's soundtrack are stellar. A long-lost classic has returned! March 18, 2008
The Point
I received the product just after a month after I ordered it. Even though it was sent internationally I was a little disappointed in the delivery time.
The Point DVD The Point featured the original animation which was a big plus. The graphic on the cover lead me to think that it might have been updated and sterilised, but I was really happy to see that the original animation had just been converted to a very clear DVD quality. March 11, 2008
