I can't believe it took me so long to catch this. It's pretty funny to look back now knowing how almost all of these young actors turned out. Great casting choices across the board - has a little of everything - heart, comedy, drama, and good music. Kudos for getting all of the original songs on the DVD set. Now, if we can just get The Wonder Years to receive this same treatment! July 31, 2008

One of the best shows to hit television in quite some time, and it was over way too soon. I found the characters (especially Sam & Lindsay) very easy to relate to, and perhaps that was why I enjoyed the show so much...I think I had a lot in common with both of them.

There's a little bit of drama, but it's not ridiculous. There is some comedy, but most of it is rather "geeky" humor, I suppose.

This show has gained quite a cult following and my guess is that the people who love it are the people who see themselves in the characters.

Wish it had lasted longer, it would have been great to get to know the freaks and geeks a bit better.

Many of the people have really taken off since the F&G days, James Franco probably most of all (Spider-Man, Tristan + Isolde) . Judd Apatow is obviously still working with many of the guys (Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and I look forward to seeing more of them in the future. July 25, 2008

I cannot understand why the network canceled such a timely show! The writing was dead on and the acting was note perfect. None of these kids in the show had that way-too-intelligent/old soul way of talking that some kids did, such as in Dawson's Creek, so unrealistic! No one I knew growing up pontificated like that! These kids were awkward, geeky, trying on new persona, lost at times, but REAL. And this show could make you howl with laughter and squirm with discomfort. My husband and I were geeks in middle school, and some of these episodes are so dead-on that my husband has to leave the room, it was so realistic, bringing back uncomfortable memories. If you haven't seen this show, and you were a fan of My So-Called Life, PLEASE! Give this series a shot! Thank me later. And then mourn it's loss when you have raced through all the episodes. There are some great tributes to this series on You Tube, too. July 22, 2008

Despite having a degree in Media Studies and am able to discuss this show on a academic level - I'd much rather just express how well written and acted this show is, never mind funny!!! I had never seen the show - but got to watch with my 12 yr.old as he recovered from having his tonsils out - anyway to quote my kid "I am going to miss them when there is no more to watch" - these characters and their sentiment (all of them, parents included) are as real as it gets and so are the laughs. Kuddos to the writers, directors, actors, producer and musical director! I just wish you could have ROCKED ON!!!! July 20, 2008
