About The Medicine Show
Starring Jonathan Silverman and from the award-winning writer/director Wendell Morris, comes The Medicine Show – just what the doctor ordered for wry humor, romance, and a whole lot of heart. When Taylor Darcy (Silverman) is diagnosed with a serious illness at a young age, he doesn’t want sympathy. He wants to be left alone with his cynicism for comfort. After healthy doses of the overly concerned, a riotous pre-surgery party, the procedure itself, disaffected nurses, and obnoxious roommates, Taylor meets his match and his soul mate in Lynn (Natasha Gregson-Wagner) – a patient with a brash, free spirit. They manage to bond in the world of managed health care, and provide us all with hope that a romantically funny thing can happen on the way to a colonoscopy.
