I've been a huge fan of Dino thunder, especially of Jason Frank "aka tommy" ever since he appeared in the original MMPR! My son loves the series and aside from what a certain reviewer thinks it great fun and plenty of people watch them still! Thats why people know so much about it and thats why Jason Frank has such a huge fan (check out the official site, the shows bigger then anyone can imagine and rakes in cash) base from not just kids but they're parents as well. A nice reminder (an improvement) of the original series...

I was a huge fan of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as a kid, saw the movie, watched practically every episode, defended it when the other kids said it was lame. However, I stopped watching the series when it changed it's title and got rid of cast memebers that I had grown to love.

Years later this show pops up and captures my interest (as did the previous ninja season). They weren't time travelers, space warriors, jeep drivers, and all the other lame stuff that seasons 4 (Neo) to (10)Wildforce gave us. This one kinda went back to the roots with Dino powers, and on normal action (as did the ninja season).

The acting, writing, special effects, and plot were all suprisingly good. Making the Power Ranger my guilty pleasure! I'm getting this series on dvd as well as the first movie, If you're a fan then you should get it too. Don't be embarrassed by your age, I'm 18! May 15, 2005

Glad to see Tommy back

I was glad to see Tommy Oliver back. I watched the original Power Rangers when I used to babysit a friends daughter. Now I watch it with my daughter. Dino Thunder was a really good season and Tommy back is the best. January 30, 2005

Moms like Dinothunder too

I found this version of Power Rangers refreshingly updated. I enjoy watching it with my boys- 3 and 7. As mentioned by the previous review, this version does a good job blending things. It's not so painfully disjointed as previous versions and the new SPD version comming in February. Since power rangers seem to advance on a regular basis from one color to another does it really matter if Tommy was a white ranger at one point? He's a black ranger now. It all gets very confusing since there seem to be many, many types, colors and combinations of rangers. November 23, 2004
