My girlfriend and I enjoyed watching these movies. It is a great collection and is neat to see how movie-making and culture changes from 1970 to 1979. We would have to say that the first and second movies were the best, the third was not bad at all, but the 1979 Concorde was a little silly. The scenes in the cabin during the 360 degree rolls are quite entertaining. The one good thing about the 1979 Concorde movie is all the photography and scenes of this beautiful airplane. Anyway, we recommend the collection, especially if you are an aviation buff, or just like disaster movies about airplanes. Each movie has an all-star cast, and the acting is very good. By the way, DO NOT WATCH THE TRAILERS ON THE DVDs BECAUSE THEY GIVE AWAY THE WHOLE PLOT AND ALL THE GOOD SCENES!! Watch the trailers last after you watch the movies! June 9, 2008

This series of 4 films will leave you entertained. Each movie has everything, from the most finely-crafted one (Airport), to the truly campy (Airport '79). This boxed set encapsulates a decade of filmmaking and was fodder for the comedic "Airplane" movies that followed. The highlight for me was Airport '75 with cult icon Karen Black and Exorcist'sThe Exorcist (The Version You've Never Seen) Linda Blair in an early role. The first three films are the most promising, with '79 being a flawed attempt to carry the franchise further. It is the weakest in the series, and probably why it was the last.

Take a look at these if you are a fan of films from the 70's, or if, like me, you want to know what spawned those funny "Airplane" movies. May 21, 2008

They shouldn't have made the 1979 one; the other 3 are staples of the 70's disaster film era, all of which are fabulously cast, scored, and executed. May 3, 2008

If you love Flying and Airplanes then these movies are for you... Very refreshing and exciting. Can't beat the price, and by the way you can't rent most of these movies in rental places, believe me I know I've checked. By the way these movies have all-star cast. March 29, 2008

The item was received in a timely fashion. The item consisted of a set of DVD's. I have only had a chance to view one of the movies, and had some problems with my DVD players reading the entire thing. I do not see any visible scratches, but my DVD players would encounter inability to read certain sections. I may need to have the DVD resurfaced. The other DVD's may have the same problem, but I do not yet know. This is most likely a manufacturing flaw and not a fault of the supplier. February 26, 2008
