Although these episodes are a bit old, we didn't have them in our collection. This series of stories are awesome! Even for the women to enjoy! Ioan Gruffudd is HOT! July 6, 2008

Fantastic!

This is a great series! Wonderful characters delightfully portrayed. I enjoyed the first parts even more as the main characters were developing. The last 4 episodes cover less ground(water!) Highly recommended. September 6, 2007

Last but not least!

This last installment of the Hornblower saga is incredible. It was great to watch, but made us sad knowing this was the last in the series. If they should ever consider continuing the Hornblower series, we will definitely look for it! Ioan Gruffudd is awesome as Hornblower, and the other actors were equally outstanding! July 17, 2007

Hornblower does it again!!!!!!!

This is the first set of Hornblower DVDs I have purchased and I cant wait for my next paycheck so I can buy the collectors edition boxed set. These are TV movies at their best.The Hornblower series is suitable for everyone young and old and are movies you are sure to watch again and again.
Look folks reality tv is far from real so instead of using up time polluting your mind with junk tap in to a new classic........ April 15, 2007

Horatio, at his best!

If you're sold on Horatio Hornblower after the first series, these are MUST items. The intensity of the plot, and the wonderful acting make these great Hornblower episodes. Dazzling cinematography,with the big epic appeal. Ioan Gruffud, Robert Lindsay continue to grow in their characters. Matthews(Paul Copley) and Stiles(Sean Gilder)keep the common man alive.
