SYNOPSES for "Horror Classics V.2"--
CARNIVAL OF SOULS-- Industrial movie director Herk Hervey made only one feature film, and it is an absolute gem. It's the eerie story of the lone survivor of a car that plummets off a bridge and into a river. She feels alienated from everyone, and decides to relocate to a new state where she's taken a job as a church organist. On her night drive toward Utah, the woman is frightened by a spectre (played by Hervey himself) that suddenly appears outside her window. At her destination, she's mysteriously drawn to an abandoned amusement park. Once settled down, her anti-social ways continue, as does an urge to explore the delapidated park.
CHAMBER OF HORRORS-- Creepy British film about a doctor who challenges visitors to open a door with seven locks on it-- behind the door is a treasure in jewels. When they fail in the task, the insane doc takes his unwary victims to a dungeon torture room, where he exuberantly torments them to death.
THE LAST MAN ON EARTH-- A virus has swept the planet, transforming all but one lone scientist into blood-seeking zombies. He spends the days harpooning these creatures, while nights pass in pure terror, as he barricades his home against a demonic onslaught. One of Vincent Price's strangest efforts.
WHITE ZOMBIE-- Atmospheric early '30s fright flick about a witch doctor who double-crosses a plantation owner. The wealthy man causes the death of a woman engaged to another, and wants her brought back to life as his love slave, but the doctor has other plans for the poor girl.
HORROR CLASSICS V.3 features Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney Jr., plus a Roger Corman movie.

All in all; decent picture, decent sound. Nothing special, but menus all seem to work and thats rare for cheap compilation DVD's.
