May be hard for a beginner but you can definitely work your way up there in a few sessions. Cuing is a little off but you can easily keep up if u pay attention. My arms and legs are much more toned now because of this DVD! July 8, 2008

The Coer Bar is totally easy to use, i read the previous review and decided to say how i thought it was easy to follow Leisa, the Core Bar is the best weigthed bar i have tried, and it is not hard to concentrate and get a workout at the same time. I am an intermediate exerciser and found this to be a great way to stay tone and fit, it was well worth and different and fun routine to follow. May 4, 2006

I just received Leisa Hart's Fit to the Core: Burn & the Core Bar in the mail today...I was so excited to do the tape. However, after a flustered and cumbersome workout, I have decided that this workout is going back in the mail tomorrow. Between fighting with the core bar and manuevering it behind my back, switching hand positions from under to over in the middle of her choreography, I didn't get a work out because I was concentrating so hard. I was told to give it one more try but, even if I mastered the core bar movements, I can't see how this workout would help me to burn the amount calories I want to lose. I'm disappointed because the main reason I purchased this set was because I like Leisa Hart in her Abs/Chest of Steel 2000. Don't waste your money and for those of you who gave such good remarks, how many of you are STILL doing this workout AND have lost weight?? March 17, 2006

ead Gibby Girls review of this DVD and had to respond....she is totally wrong and unfortunately wrote a review that makes no sense. She complained about the Core Bar but doesn't have one. Well, I do, and I LOVE IT! The Core Bar is absotlutely useful in this workout, it gets your balance and focus in line and you feel the effects of the simple moves that generate power in the core muscles. I read other reviews from Gibby Gril, and its apparent she writes alot of negative reviews, really mean. This dvd is well worth it, it is a very sold workout and the Core Bar is a fine piece of fitness equipment. May 25, 2005

Please don't waste your time on this one. And for God's sake, please don't waste your money on the Core bar. I'm really confused about the previous reviews.

This DVD is awful. I have an old Leisa Hart Buns of Steel workout video and I just don't understand what has happened to her. She invents this silly worthless piece of equipment (the Core bar) and then creates a worthless workout to complement it.

This is supposed to be a 30 minute cardio workout with toning emphasis. The cardio is too repititious and boring, and didn't get my heartrate up. It was a complete waste of 30 minutes. I consider myself at an intermediate level. This workout is too confusing for a beginner. Instead of the Core bar I used dumbells and the moves were very awkward.

Please, try something else. Probably any video is better than this, and believe me, I've tried a lot. Try Denise Austin's Personal Trainer for a decent 20 minute cardio/light weight workout, 10 minute solution: Carb Burner is great with interval training, Crunch Bootcamp, anything else but this.
