I would say this is a movie without morals. It seemed strange to me that Ann, when she had multiple chances to go to the police, instead chose to submit to her boyfriend's increasingly dangerous threats. So, each incident put her in more and more danger. Wouldn't any normal, moral person, when they are out alone with a little girl they'd learned had been kidnapped, go to the police both to get the girl back home and for their own protection? There is a good bit of suspense, but without any reasonable resolution. I thought the ending was totally unconscionable, making the movie hardly worth wasting time watching it. August 25, 2006

This film shows style. The choice of camera placement, lighting and the blocking is excellent. If the director had been able to work with better actors, this film would have won the Sundance Film Festival. The one non-actor, Roger Clinton (Bill Clinton's brother!) was inspired to give his best performance. Maybe he understood that he was working with someone who will undoubtedly become the next Spielberg. February 28, 2000

While no blockbuster, Implicated is a good watch with eclectic music and nice performances form Locane and McNamara. Infact its worth it to see Bill Clintons brother playing a police officer. September 5, 1999

"Implicated" stars William MacNamara and Amy Locane, two actors that at one time were considered hot up and comers. MacNamara with his diverse range of roles in films like "Aspen Extreme" and "Copycat" (and more recently the awlful Jerry Springer film "Ringmaster"), and Locane, who shot to fame on TV's "Melrose Place" and starred in some promising films like "School Ties" and "Cry Baby". Move over, C.Thomas Howell, take a back seat Wings Hauser and jump in line Thomas Ian Griffith because we have a couple of new stars that look set to become "i was a promising actor and now I do video crap" members. MacNamara is the main offender, playing a jerky and weird lover of Locane, who decides to do the nasty with her (at a most erotic moment) and then show his true colours, as the bad guy of the flick. Locane has nothing to do in this except to take her clothes out, scream and run. "Implicated" could have been a reasonable story of love and backstabbing, instead it nearly goes next to the video shelves alongside "Night Eyes" and other lame B thrillers. April 28, 1999
