About Encino Man/Son in Law
Encino Man - English/French DVD- Starring Pauly Shore, ENCINO MAN unearths the biggest laughs in 2 million years! The fun kicks off when two high school buddies dig up a frozen caveman in their backyard! Once the living fossil thaws out, the friends figure he's their ticket to being cool. But the plan backfires when the newcomer turns everyday life upside down, generating pre-hysterical craziness wherever he roams! Co-starring Sean Astin (BULWORTH) and Brendan Fraser (THE MUMMY), you'll definitely dig ENCINO MAN -- the totally irreverent, totally awesome comedy that shows just how hilariously out-of-control things evolve once the stone age meets the rock age head-on! Son In Law - English/French DVD - Middle America will never be the same when comedian Pauly Shore (ENCINO MAN) travels to the Midwest and becomes the SON-IN-LAW. Shore stars as Crawl, L.A.'s funkiest college student, who's hilariously out of his element when he spends Thanksgiving at the family farm of a straitlaced college co-ed (Carla Gugino -- SPY KIDS). Crawl's unlike anything the Midwesterners have ever seen -- outside the barn that is! But before long, Crawl's plowing his way into their hearts with his outrageous antics and offbeat attempts at farming. Get ready for a truckload of laughs and a half-ton of hysteria with this totally irreverent comedy!

A brilliant what-if movie
After watching "Caveman" ASIN: 6302658489, to see what life was really like way back then, it is time to speculate on what-if a cave dweller was thawed out in our time. We can not just choose anyone to portray a cave man in today's environment. So we pick an expert that already thinks this way, Brendan Fraser. To balance this we must also find someone to portray the serious scholar that observes and guides him through the intricacies of today's environment from driving to the Seven-Eleven; that person can only be Pauly Shore. Every serious scholar must have a protagonist to anchor the story, hence Sean Astin later to play "Kurt Vonnegut's Harrison Bergeron" (1995) ASIN: 6303801919
Will the displaced caveman adapt? Will he survive? Is the cheese old and moldy? And more to the point will you survive with out laughing to death?

Love in the country
A rural girl (Carla Gugino), the farmer's daughter, is sent to a big city school. There she meats and embraces the outside world. Evidently it is true that you can't keep them down on the farm. To escape a fate worse than death (marriage to a local yokel) she contrives and cajoles a fellow student Crawl (Pauly Shore) to be a pretend fiancé and potential Son-in-law.
Now the clandestine meeting. The family slightly dysfunctional believes they found a weird dude to tinker with his mind. Sot of reminds you of a rural "My Man Godfrey". Crawl brings out the best in people and corrects the dysfunction.
The real question remains will he really be the "Son-in-law?"
