About Paloma De Marsella
Amelia, an aging former prostitute living an anonymous existence in a retirement home, is chosen as a contestant on a popular Mexican game show. After answering the show's most difficult question, she decides to stay on for bigger prizes. Seized by the adrenaline from her new celebrity, she continues answering increasingly difficult questions until she wins the grand prize of a tractor. Soon her largess and new celebrity put her at odds with the management and the residents of her retirement home. She is forced to confront relatives from her past who had disowned her, but now want to reconnect. Central to the plot is a love story between Amelia and a man from the retirement home. He takes up her cause, and helps her fight for her convictions, as they ultimately find true love. In Spanish, No Subtitles.
