I have been looking for this and finally found it. The service was really good. The inside of the case was broken, but the CD perfect. July 21, 2008

A much more faithful representation of the Ludlum character than that portrayed by the cinema version. I recommend that people read the book then see THIS version of it, before seeing the more modern versions. Overall, a very good adaptation. June 22, 2008

Had to compare this to the Matt Damon version. This one is a bit more cerebral. Also, this one was made for television. All in all, still a good movie. April 28, 2008

This wasn't bad- It followed the plot of the book about as accurately as a two-part mini-series could (I would have liked to have the Medusa plot introduced, but this would have required more episodes). If you're a fan of the Matt Damon movie, you should understand that said movie is a departure from the book, but if you know the background of that movie, you'll understand that this was intentional (the director of the movie made sure that the writer of the movie only had a brief outline of the story, and was instructed to write his own version). In any case, if you can get past the some-what cheesy choreography of the fight scenes, this was a fine mini-series that should appeal to any fan of Ludlum's books. April 25, 2008

If you're a fan of daytime soaps, you won't be dissapointed. However, melodrama, unengaging romance, dated action scenes (think Errol Flynn), and insipid acting are not my thing.

I prefer the rapid paced editing and brilliantly choreographed fight and chase scenes of the 2002 version. This isn't to say that newer movies are always better than their elder siblings e.g. The Manchurian Canidate. It's just that this 1988 miniseries provides neither good action nor good drama (notwithstanding the strong performance of Peter Vaughan.)
