Passion Lane (2001)

An invitation to a weekend at Harry and Olivia's is as coveted as their wild sex parties are legendary. Now they're planning the next event, and who could possibly say no? Anything goes, so guests must be ready to let go of their inhibitions. If they don't play along they'll be asked to leave. And the most important rule is that what happens stays inside.

Even the UNRATED version is lame.......

The first two reviewers of this movie said it best so I won't repeat them. Sometimes with a film like this you need to get the unrated version to enjoy it. Not here. I know I got the unrated one because the run time is 15 minutes longer than the rated cable version. I'm not a big fan of "pink shots" or closeups of anything. I do like to be able to hear the gals "goin at it" so to speak. You can't here. Nothing but loud, unimaginative music can be heard during the sex. The only good thing I can say about this movie is, if you catch the rated version on showtime or somewhere else, go ahead and watch it. You're not missing anything good from the deleted 15 minutes. This was a very good movie I liked Amy Lindsay in this. Very good sex scenes. Worth the money. If you get a chance to buy it do so. May 12, 2007

Big build up to a big let down...

This film presents itself as having all the possiblities of some interesting situations. That is, if you only actually rely on the liner notes that tout a scenerio of sexual adventure and imaginative and provocative scenes. None of which could be further from the truth. The scenes are unimaginative and the actors are dull and the overall sound quality is some of the worst that I have ever heard on a professionally produced DVD. Not recommended as a rental and definitely not recommended as a purchase at any price. I agree whole heartedly with the other reviewer as well. Don't bother with this one. April 14, 2004

Very Disappointing

That movie is crap. Obviously it's not from Indigo Entertainment but from Surrender Cinema. The graphic is incredibly poor and the scenes are very plain and flat, I mean not spicy at all. You can tell that the actors are overacting which is not natural at all. The plot itself is stupid, involving several men/women meeting up in a resort, and having sex with each other. No pink shots or close-ups (like you would expect from previous Playboy movies) or full frontal or rear nudity scenes. I have also seen "Castle Erotica" from the same studio, and it is as disappointing as this one. I would definitely not recommend this one. I believe the same movie would have been heaps different if it were from Indigo Entertainment (another subsidiary of Playboy Entertainment Group). March 17, 2004
