Karmina is determined not to marry Vlad, the Transylvanian capitalist, and escapes to modern day Montreal where she stays with "My Aunt" Esmeralda, a throughly modern immortal. She finds true love but how can it survive her dark secret? Just to make matters worse her parents arrive in Montreal determined to take her home.
