Ronin Warriors - The Shadow of Doom (1995)

Ryo, Cy, Halo, Rowan, and Kenton prepare to storm the castle of the evil Lord Tampa, who tries to separate the Warriors and undermine Kento's belief in his armor, but with little success. Much of the action in these episodes focuses on the wavering loyalty of the Dark Warlord Anubis, who was once human. Ancient, the mysterious monk who aids the Warriors, reveals that the armor of the five Troopers and four Dark Warlords are all fragments of a single entity whose power Tampa covets. Defying Tampa, Ancient sacrifices himself to create a bridge the Warriors can use to enter the castle, initiating the next level of battle. Legendary Armour Samurai Troopers (1989) became Ronin Warriors when it aired in syndication in the U.S. (1995); the disc includes two versions of each episode: Ronin Warriors dubbed in English and Legendary Armour in Japanese.
