great soundtrack

this album has some quality tunes and i recommend it to anyone into the late 60s style...the one thing however is that some songs are too short....and having a total length of just over 50 minutes i am sure an extra few minutes on some of the songs would not hurt! November 23, 2005

A great soundtrack for a great movie

the soundtrack is great and almost got unoticed
such as the movie

c'est magnifique

The movie was an artistic bore, but at least it introduced me to Mellow! I love this album- 60's campy, spacy, downbeat and french all rolled into one- what more could you ask for? I used to think Air's 'Moon Safari' was great, but this cd kicks it up a few notches. Get it Now! January 7, 2004

my vote for best film and soundtrack of 2002 (though the todd haynes masterpiece film, "far from heaven," and soundtrack come very closely behind). can't say i had ever heard of mellow before seeing "cq" and may never buy anything else from them ever again, but this soundtrack is perfect. as the film is a representation of a film being made in 1969 about 2000, the soundtrack represents a band from 1969 trying to sound like music in 2000. by the way, my kudos go out to the "cq" dvd and website, which are very easily the best of 2002 also. i love you. i love you. i love you.
