WONDERFUL STORY FOR OLD AND YOUNG. July 19, 2008
| A family adventure |
It keeps you on your toes about what Anne will do next. In this story Anne is growing up and is faced with more challenges. Her best friend is getting Married, She gets offered a great job as a teacher at a strict boarding school, and her relationship with Gilbert gets interesting and has you hanging there at the end. This story is one your family will love. If you loved Anne of Green Gables you will adore the sequel. June 14, 2008

| A great sequel |
With a fitting conclusion to satisfy all viewers, this series is a great way for anyone to spend a Sunday afternoon at home with family. The only thing better would be the books!
P.S. While I highly recommend the first two installments in this series, I caution against the third, 'The Continuing Story.' It was a great disappointment... mainly because there is no trace of the original books in this film whatsoever, with the Anne we know and love re-written into a gloomy, plodding melodrama of WW1. I actually yelled at the screen and fought the desire to take the disk out of the player and stomp on it. My advice, stick with the ending from the sequel.
