Unfortunately the production looks as though it was done by the Beverly Hillbillies. Buy Alison Krauss & Union Station - Live, then compare to this. It pales by comparison. I liked it, but I was frustrated and angered at the editing. It's still a good concert but the needless interruption of performances to view backstage was, without a doubt, the worst thing I've ever seen. It makes the Cox family look stupid. Maybe that was on purpose. They should apologize to Chris Thomas King and the Cox family, who are brilliant artists. This contains the music from Oh Brother Where Art Thou, yet, it's missing The Soggy Bottom Boys and Man of Constant Sorrow. Why? August 17, 2008

Its a pleasure to see so much talent on show at a concert. There is a good bit of introductory material and then a straightforward concert without pyrotechnics or disconcerting camera work. For one who saw this on tour, it was a real nostalgia trip as well. Highly recommended and share it with your friends.Bluegrass March 6, 2008

If you don't like bluegrass music, you will after you watch this marvelously crafted video and concert. John Hartford as the Master of Ceremonies makes the viewer feel welome and truly a part of this wonderful mucical happening. The songs, performers, and theatrical setting are perfect. The musicians are the best of the best and make it look effortless. Watching the video makes you want to go to Nashville and see even more bluegrass music. You can't help but enjoy these great performances. September 5, 2007

I truly enjoyed the music from "O Brother, Where Art Thou," but this concert and the backstage interviews with the performers made it even better. July 27, 2007
