About Let It Ride
Jay Trotter has waited a lifetime for this day. He's got a hot tip on a horse everyone thinks is ready for the glue factory. But, as track aficionados say, "Even when you know, you never know." One thing you can be certain be sure of is that with Richard Dreyfuss, David Johansen, Teri Garr and more, this is a winning comedy. So put it in your VCR and Let It Ride. Its characters give new meaning to "the odds." And its heart will touch everyone who's wondered: "If every dog has his day, why can't every person have one?"

My Husband loves this movie! Funny, good ending and not too many curse words!
August 8, 2008All of us have felt like a born loser during times in our lives. Well folks, so does Richard Dreyfuss's character Trotter. He's a "loser" at the track. Always has been and always will be. Until that wonderful day, that "I'm having a Great Day" day.
Richard Dreyfuss, Terri Garr, David Johansen and of course Meg Tilley are just super.

November 18, 2007Dreyfuss is over the top in this one - in a good way. This is on my favorites list with Down and out in Beverly Hills. Hilarious movie with an extremely funny and memorable cast.
"You don't wanna make a scene in the Jockey Club!!!"
September 17, 2007First saw this movie years ago with friends that rented it. Loved it. Couldn't believe we'd never heard of it. Maybe saw it once since then on TV, also awhile ago. It always comes to mind during the Triple Crown so because it's rarely shown on TV we bought it. I am happy to say it's just as good as we remembered it. Great story, great cast, funny, feel good movie. Robbie Coltrane's role is wonderful and Richard Dreyfuss is at his best.
