This is one of my favorite "feel good" movies of all time. A lot of fun (with a YOUNG Milton Berle) and some of the BEST mucic ever filmed. Have a heart and bring this out!!!! October 31, 2008

Even if you are not a Glenn Miller fan, as I am, you will enjoy this very entertaining movie which also features Sonja Henie (and her amazing ice skating skills) as well as a very young Milton Berle.
The movie is worth watching just to see and hear the Glenn Miller band - and Miller as an actor!
Please release this movie on DVD! October 27, 2008

I am a great admirer/fan of Sonja Henie. Not many people realize just how a profound effect she had on the Olympics, all the great ice skaters still attribute their love of skating to Sonja Henie. With that being said it is incredible that she is not avaliable on DVD in the U.S. so that the younger generation can watch and enjoy her as I do. Sonja Henie starred in a total of 12 movies with many noteworhty stars in their own rights including,

1. One in a Million (1937), also stars Don Ameche
2. Thin Ice (1937), also stars Tyrone Powers
3. My Lucky Star (1938), also stars Cesar Romero
4. Happy Landings (1938), also stars Cesar Romero
5. Everything Happens at Night (1939), also stars Ray Milland
6. Irving Berlin's Second Fiddle (1939), also stars Tyrone Powers
7. Sun Valley Serenade (1941), also stars John Payne
8. Iceland (1942), also stars John Payne
9. Wintertime (1943), also stars Cesar Romero
10. It's a Pleasure (1945), also stars Michael O'shea
11. The Countess of Monte Cristo
12. Hello London

She is a real treat, cannot wait to collect her in the U.S. Hope they will be releasing soon... August 5, 2008

This movie is one of the great oldies that should have been put on dvd before alot of others. What's the holdup? Sensational music and actors; hopefully when it is released, it will come out in great stereo or dolby digital!!! hint....hint.... April 8, 2008

Just wondering why such a GREAT Movie is not on DVD here in this country, and why we have to wait so long. I have had Orchestra Wives for quite some time and it is great.
