This is one of your typical "feel good" movies from Disney with Hayley Mills. Having grown up in this genre of movies, this is one of the favorites. Good family flick!

I loved this movie.I cannot believe I never saw this when I was younger.It is great.Just a wonderful family movie.Burl Ives was excellent.Hayley Mills was wonderful,as always.One to enjoy again and again.I wish they made movies like this now.
May 4, 2008Today's kids wouldn't get it, but for me it was a return to childhood when silly things were funny! I still enjoy it and it brought back memories of sitting in my principal's office with a group of girls watching it! Every year my principal (an elderly lady) would treat the 6th - 8th grade girls to a movie in her office!
March 10, 2008This is an old fashion Disney movie. It is okay but lacks clarity and a complete story. The acting is fine for the time it was filmed. I can recommend this movie to the whole family.
March 1, 2008I've loved Hayley Mills movies since I was a kid and used to watch them with my mom. Now my daughter's watch them with me. I love the fact that I can get them on DVD because my old VCR tapes were extremely close to breaking since they had been watched so much!
