DRI is an unbelievable band with brutal riffs. Great mix of hardcore/metal. DRI as usual plays great and there is a cool bouncer/stagediver fight near the beginning of the set. However, I was at their violent live shows along the west coast from 1984-1989. 50-150 people in the pit was common. Never and I mean never, during any DRI song, were there only a handful of people in the pit. This show speaks for itself, during several of the songs, there may be 4-5 people in the pit on several occasions. This is weak NY. No excuses. May 2, 2007

D.R.I. is one of the greatest bands in the world. They were one of the first to combine metal and punk and they do it the best. This show is from their Crossover tour so you get their old punk tunes and their crazy thrash ones too. This DVD is just non stop insanity from beginning to end. You also get to see what the crowds at these shows were like back then and see how much better the pit was too. There are also five music videos. Beneath the Wheel, Acid Rain, Abducter, Suit and Tie Guy and Syringes in the Sandbox. If you are into metal or punk you must buy this. You won't regret it. February 28, 2006

This is a must for any DRI fan. If you're not a fan, you don't know hardcore punk. The band grabs you from the first song and never lets go! The sound and picture quality is very good-the closest experience to a punk show without going to your local venue as you'll ever get. Highly recommended and watch out for those stage-divers! well it was only possible in 1987 at a d.r.i. show to bring all sorts together to see skin heads banging there heads and the metal heads slam danceing was some of the first to be seen buy any band.recorded at the ritz in n.y.c.on there 3rd album crossover this awesome perfomance was one of the best to be recorded buy the band.the sound quality and picture are very good for the time .also are some of the best of there songs are here from all 3 first albums .it is kind of a short set but you wont have the energy to slam dance threw the entire thing anyway.this collection also with a bounus of a bunch of videos and clips of the band at the time.so if you want to hear and see some of the best kick #ss thrash core and you just got a dvd player this is a must must buy.just make sure you dont break any furniture in the house from your stage diving! If you are an old "hardcore" fan like I am, then this live concert video will take you happily down memory lane. You can't help but want to slam when you hear these tunes again. If you can remember 1987-1988, when the crossover between the worlds of Hardcore Punk and Heavy Metal occured, then you remember D.R.I., aka Dirty Rotten Imbeciles. This is a lot of material from their second album, "Dealing With It" and their third, "Crossover", as well as some of their later production videos from "Thrash Zone". It is well made for a concert video, the sound doesn't come from the camera microphone atleast! Good stuff for the D.R.I. fans out there! June 25, 2001
