| I laughed my head off |
The setup of this movie was random, to say the least, and it throws a motley crue of characters your way with zingy ebonic wit. We have an overweight, bible thumping mother, a snotty, two faced cheerleader, a soft-spoken friend who apparently doesn't take rape very seriously and the international pervert force (one of them is black and one of them is white) who spend their days parked on the side of the road near the high school with the hopes of luring cute young girls into the back of their crappy, beat up van so they can molest them. It's kind of funny, but they don't seem to ever get what's coming to them. They kind of wander into the movie, like dim witted, overzealous hormone charged spring bucks and wander out of the movie just as nonchalantly.
There are exactly two white people in this movie. One of them is a panty sniffing child molesting freak and the other one is an uptight, dorky businessman. A lot of references are made throughout this movie about how white people earn money so much easier. I thought the world has made some intelligent changes in our modern times, but according to this movie, I'm wrong.
I think this movie was making an honest effort to be funny, and it actually succeeded at this. Some of the jokes were good and when reached tedious levels of stupidity it was still dumb enough to laugh at. The curtains dropped kind of randomly and abruptly.
The ending was...stupid. June 1, 2005

| A good movie despite faults |
What the movie lacked the most for me was a sense of serious drama which it had at times but quickly dismissed, e.g. an unfortunate occurance happens to a character that is life threanting early on and should have been treated more seriously. However, this character acts as this event was nothing and thinks little or nothing of it despite her life was in such great danger and she still might be in danger. Like I said before, the movie all and all was worth the rental. I found it at Planet Hollywood- perhaps Blockbuster has it if you don't have a planet hollywood. June 25, 2001
