rating: 4 QuoteGreat movie, but why not in widescreen?Quote
I'm giving the movie itself four stars, but if I were rating the product I would give it only two.
How come the only widescreen release of this movie is the one that comes with the big James Stewart package? It should also be rereleased by itself in widescreen, for those who already own one or more of the movies in the "The James Stewart Hollywood Legend Collection." I don't want to pay over $40 for movies I already own just so I could get "Harvey" in widescreen, but I refuse to buy anything in fullscreen since I learned how much it detracts from the film.
So it looks like I won't be getting "Harvey" after all. Too bad, it's a wonderful film. July 11, 2008

rating: 4 QuoteAn Interesting MovieQuote
My favorite part is Elwood's response when people ask "Can I do anything for you?" or "What can I do for you?" He says, "What did you have in mind?" and it throws people. They don't know how to react, which to me is funny.
I also like that the viewer gets to decide who's "sane" and "not sane". The cab driver's speech about the way people act on the drive to the sanitarium vs the way they act on the drive home was poignant. July 7, 2008

This is another great classic. Its funny, thoughtful & up lifting. I was lucky enough to see the Broadway revival years ago with Jimmy Stewart, a great memory. Give this one a try. June 16, 2008
