About NASCAR Racers - Maximum Overdrive
Buckle up for the fastest cartoon racing adventure since Speed Racer, with added high-tech wizardry of the 21st century. The good guys are on Team Fastex, a group of four hotshot racers who are as adept at solving mysteries as they are at winning races at the Motorsphere 500. Their rivals are the four sinister members of Team Rexcor, masters at conjuring evil deeds at every turn. In the first episode, Fastex team member Mark (Charger) McCutchen is lost in the Alaskan wilderness and rescues a pilot who, in turn, gives McCutchen the will to live. Is it Charger's father--supposedly deceased for years--whom Charger pulls alive from the plane wreckage? In the next sequence, we're back at the Motorsphere stadium during a grueling day of competitive racing. A big-name sponsor is deciding which team possesses the most impressive technological prowess--Team Fastex or Team Rexcor. While proving their abilities, Team Fastex must quell Team Rexcor's attempts to seize the Motorsphere computer and sabotage all future races. This 64-minute adventure is divided into three adrenaline-packed episodes in which goodness wins the day, both on and off the racecourse. (Ages 4 to 12.) --Lynn Gibson Amazon.com
