It is such a shame that a-ha did seem to drop off the radar here in the US, as I loved their early releases very much! It has been difficult, but I FINALLY have the completion of my a-ha collection and this CD was SO worth my waiting!! They are brilliant and I look forward to more from them in the future!! This is a great cd. Pure and simple. A-Ha has matured into wonderful writers, composers and musicians. My favorite tracks: "Minor Earth Major Sky", "Little Black Heart", "Velvet", "Summer Moved On", "The Company Man" and "I Wont Forget Her". Morten's voice is absolutely beautiful in "Summer...". The album is one of those that you can put on during a long drive and listen to completely. A must addition to any music collection! (As a citizen of the U.S., I just wish that they would tour here. I would love to experience the music live.) August 21, 2008

I loved the album 'Hunting High and Low' in the mid-eighties in spite of the typical production values of the time. The songs behind the slightly 'tinny' sound in vogue back then were full of yearning ('Here I Stand and Face the Rain' is still one of my favourite love songs ever - from any band); I read somewhere that Pål Waaktaar saw the album as a type of love-letter.

'Minor Earth | Major Sky' still has the sense of beauty and emotion of their earlier albums; maybe in a more mature way. Steer clear if you're a musical snob, because you'll probably have your mind made up before you've even heard it (by the way U2, Coldplay and Leonard Cohen admire them so if you do decide to like them don't worry, you're in good company...) but if you love great melody, vocals etc. this album is well worth buying.

Stand-out tracks? The title track, 'Summer Moved On' and 'Little Black Heart'. June 6, 2008

I owned the first 3 a-ha albums and enjoyed every song. But a-ha seemed to drop off the face of the earth in the 90s. Then when I read on the internet that a-ha was putting out a new album in 2000, I was estatic. But the only way to get it in the USA was to import it, Thank God for Amazon! I must have played this CD continuously for a year. It's a good album, but like all albums it has it's weaker tracks. But if you are an a-ha fan even the weak ones sound good if it has the chemistry of the three members of the band. May 7, 2008
