He uses the occasional expletetive but not too many. If you're a fan of his from movies like Caddyshack and Back To School then you're likely to enjoy his humour. If you don't know who he is then don't worry because even if you don't find every gag funny, he shoots them off so fast that you'll be laughing at the next one anyway.
Near the end of the disc he takes questions from the audience and fires back some funny responses. I just wish the disc was longer.

| Classic Rodney! Tons of laughs. |
This cd is one of his best. The laughs start at once and don't end until he finally says "Sorry people shows over!" The crowd was ,(me included) left begging for more. He does a great encore, and even tangles with hecklers and fields questions from the audience, all with his brilliant humor, snappy timing and lightning fast comebacks.
I can never get enough Rodney. If you are new to him, this would make for an excellent introduction.
He will be missed!

| Masterful--Funny, Creative, and in Control |
What's most impressive about Rodney Dangerfield--and I'd say the same of Jackie Mason when I saw him in concert--is the absolute mastery and control that he has over his material and the audience. There are several instances of heckling during his set and he quiets them down with a quick retort and doesn't so much as skip a beat. At the end of the album he answers some questions from audience members and shows a flair for both improvisational humor and the ability to tie audience comments back to his own material. I'm stunned that I got this CD for about $7. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better comedy value anywhere. (Just for your calibration purposes, my favorite comedians are "early" George Carlin, Robin Williams, Mitch Hedberg, Woody Allen, Steve Martin, Bill Cosby and the Sklar Brothers.) June 30, 2007
