Not Yet Born In The U.S.A.....
I have copies on VHS tape, but I just upgraded everything in my entertainment center to hi-def 1080P plasma and bluray. In otherwords, there is no more vcr in my entertainment center!
Blu-ray would make this movie even more incredible!
A bit of trivia for you:
Born In The U.S.A.
Not many people remember that this film was originaly slated to be titled "Born in The U.S.A.". Then Bruce released the tune he wrote for this film on his album titled of the same name (and he was originally to be cast in the film as well). An out of court agreement was made and Bruce wrote another tune, "Light of Day". Any fan of Springsteen or Joan should you-tube the video of them Performing this song together. It's INCREDIBLE!!

Almost as good as "Teen Wolf Too"
excellent
Disappointing
There is, I'm sure, a good movie waiting to be made about bar bands in gritty rock and roll clubs. Unlike Light of Day, it will have characters we can care about, acting that we can believe in and some development that makes a difference in the characters' lives.
A man ten rows behind me in the theatre where I saw Light of Day fell asleep and snored through the last half of the movie. No one bothered to wake him. Just jealous, I guess. September 25, 2006
