The Park Is Mine (1984)

a fine little action picture

while not his best tommy lee jones is good as a nam vet who takes over for his dead friend and takes over central park to highlight how wrong vets are being done. the set up and the taking of the park are all handled very well and the story holds up very well when it could have easyly fallen apart. this was first made for hbo in the 80's and really needs to be on dvd. The Park is Mine - Music by Tangerine Dream

This is one of the best Tommy Lee Jones movies. Also it is one of the best soundtracks performed by Tangerine Dream. I have the original soundtrack recording released by Silva America (SSD 1004) and it is great!. Two of my favorite tracks are 3. The Letter (Parts 1&2), and 6. Love Theme. They are very emotive and they always make me remember the movie. I relly hope they release this movie in DVD. February 23, 2006

This movie must be on DVD!!!

This is a great movie, one of Tommys best. I have been waiting for it to come to DVD for years. It was one of my favorite movies when i was a kid and would love to see it on DVD. January 10, 2006

Where's the DVD!!!!!

This is a great movie! I saw it when I was very young and it took me more than a decade to remember the name and now I realize there isn't a DVD release! I demand it!!! August 27, 2005
