Aside from the ubiquitous presence of a Fatboy Slim track ("Praise You") and the Verve's yesteryear anthem of choice, "Bittersweet Symphony," the cuts on this teensploitation-influenced compilation are hardly cut-out bin oatmeal. Fans restless to sample fresh Blur material will bask in the moody glow of "Coffee & TV," while other tracks offer some lesser-known but tasty dance-floor modernists such as Faithless and Kristen Barry. Well, if you like the movie then you will most likely love the soundtrack. That's a given. I like the great majority of the tracks (especially "Bittersweet Symphony", "Every You Every Me", "Colorblind", "Secretly" and "This Love"), although there were some that I don't much care for ("Praise You" and "Bedroom Dancing").

Overall, a good eclectic soundtrack that is great for listening to in your car. August 29, 2007

I love the soundtrack to this movie. This album truly has a song for everyone. My favorite song, "Bittersweet Symphony," is like a classic that you can never get tired of. It's just one of those songs you could listen to every single day. Other songs, like "Colorblind," are beautiful, but so slow and soothing that they can almost bring some people to tears. This isn't just your everyday movie soundtrack -- this really is MUSIC. August 27, 2007
