Really Funny, Ekin is Gorgeous!

Ekin Chen/g stars as, Plane an unlucky cop who's life takes a turn for the worse when his girlfriend Carrie, (Gigi Leung), is brutally murdered by a hitman named Angel.

A year later, Plane is partnered with Turkey, (Jordan Chan) a goofy new rookie on the force. Plane's attempts to rid himself of his new partner, result in a newfound friendship between these two misfits. When Turkey's super-model girlfriend is threatened, Plane and Turkey must join forces to rescue her. Mayhem and hilarity ensue.

I really enjoyed "We're No Bad Guys." (What a crazy title!) Ekin Chen/g was gorgeous, the acting funny, and the scenes cute and amusing. My only problem with this movie was the uneven writing. It seems, (at first) that its was going to be a hard-core police drama, then, after the character of Turkey is introduced the movie takes a decidedly "over-the -top " "Police Academy" like humorous spin, which it maintains for the rest of the movie.

Second, the subtitles were just awful. In some scenes the white on white, made it impossible to read.

Even so, Ekin adds such a great amount of dignity to this role as Officer Plane, It was impossibly fun to watch. I recommend this novel for fans of romantic comedy, or fans of Ekin! You won't be disappointed. January 14, 2003
