Corrs - Forgiven, Not Forgotten

With one foot in traditional Irish music and the other in smooth, sophisticated pop, the Corrs--a family quartet made up of three sisters and their brother--seem to have all the bases covered. On their appealing debut album, the group plays it both ways, leading with fetching love songs such as "Runaway" and the title track but incorporating fiddle, tin whistle, and bodhrán into nearly every track while tossing in snippets of traditional-leaning material such as "Carraroe Jig" and "Erin Shore" for good measure. What a great classic CD from my favorite band!

I'm a Corrs fan from a long time ago (since 2000) until now I still really like them very much. I think this cd is fabulous. A lot of great songs is my favourite : Runaway, Forgiven Not Forgotten, The Right Time, Love To Love You. But the one which outstanding me is Heaven Knows. Sharon's violin on this song really gave me a goosebump. My other favorite Corrs album is In Blue (Special Edition) but this Cd really show the fans the whole thing about The Corrs. Their traditional music, their talent, and their great songwriting ability which makes no doubt to me for giving this album 5 Stars Rating.

Forgiven, Not Forgotten, their first album and the truest to their essence. It's a perfect mix of pop/rock and celtic elements that also has a certain mysterious athmosphere about it that is absolutely charming. October 22, 2007

I absolutely love the Corr's on all levels....their music, their lyrics
their voices, their souls, their beauty. I am moved from my depths and know my soul has been touched when I listen to them.
I hgihly recommend that you allow the Corr's to touch your

Great CD

I became a fan of The Corrs the minute that I first heard the debut of "Runaway". They have beautiful love songs, and they have some fun and funky upbeat tunes on this CD.

I love the way they combine the pop music sound with a touch of their heritage music. I think that their music has gotten even better as the years go by, but I still love this CD the best.
