Beethoven Lives Upstairs is a delightful way to introduce Beethoven's work to young and older students. Be careful telling young students about his deafness. One six year old dissolved in tears and couldn't play Beethoven for another year! July 7, 2008

Such lovely memories come back....

I owned this on cassete as a kid and I am so sad to have lost it. I fell asleep to this tape as a kid, and now Beethoven has an almost nostalgic feel about him. WONDERFUL album!! :D November 21, 2006

You won't regret this purchase

This is a wonderful CD. It's narrative is quite pleasing and of course the music is fantastic. We listen to this in the car and my 7 yr old daughter just loves it. It has sparked some interesting conversations. I am very pleased with it and will most definitely purchase others in the series. April 7, 2006
