This television studio performance of the firt album's big hits (Paranoid, Iron Man, Black Sabbath and a cover of Blue Suede Shoes) is a must for die hard fans, the quality is suprising, the production is corny but that is the charm. The only drawback is that it is bery short. August 8, 2008

These are the videos you used to see on headbanger's ball shown and shown again in the 80's. There is no live material here. These are the promo videos. These are definitely studio versions not live!!
But it is simply awesome. Blue suede shoes covered by Sab.. probably won't find it or see it anywhere.

Ozzy goes crazy, I'm convinced that Ozzy invented headbanging! (like the kind we see in trash and metal bands) No one was banging their heads like this before ozzy! Crystal clear quality..
Iron man, Paranoid, Black sabbath, blue suede shoes. May 27, 2007

The only thing bad about this is that it's only 4 songs. Well, the fact that one of those 4 songs is "Blue Suede Shoes" isn't so great either. But the performances are excellent, and the quality is good. Ozzy's performance in "Black Sabbath" is incredible, maybe even better than on the album. This is Black Sabbath in their prime, performing these songs live, with amusing hippie video effects over top of it. What more could you ask for? I think this is a must-have for any Sabbath fan. Although I would have preferred seeing Black Sabbath perform "Sweet Leaf" rather than Blue Suede Shoes, the other three songs make up for it.

The title song and band name is what motivated me to purchase this video, despite its short (20 mins) length. I was able to attend one of their reunion shows a few years ago, and this song got the best response from the audience. I also had the album of the same name as a teen, and never dreamed that I would see them perform some of it live over 30 years later.

Yet another bad Pioneer DVD. ONLY four of the original BS Musicladen performances. Pioneer seems to not have that much confidence in the storage ability of a DVD, according to their track record. They seem to have the tendency with their anime releases to only put 3-4 episodes on it, as though they are afraid that if they go any further, the disc will won't handle it any longer. But the picture is crap any way. -_-4 And it shows here. It's as though they get a KICK out of screwing people over! "We'll only use 25% of the disc space for no logical reason." Obviously, they're ignorant of the power of this format.

This disc also contains their lame attempt at a 5.1 remix. July 15, 2001
