Switched at Birth is a wonderful, highly emotional movie that will tug at your heart strings. It's based on the true story of two baby girls who were switched in the hospital shortly after birth. The saddest thing about this story is that everyone is a victim, and everyone is innocent. There is a bitter custody battle, but there is no "bad guy" involved. It's hard to imagine all the hard luck these two families went through, and apparently are still going through today. This is the type of movie you can watch over and over. January 24, 2005

This movie was put together with such excellence and the best of acting. Being an extremely emotional movie it is beyond heart tugging to know what these people went through in real life and how these excellent actors do such a superb job of telling this dramatic story. Bonnie Bedelia and Brian Kerwin are amazing. The music that went along with this story, and each time right before the movie broke for a commerical break how it would show an upcoming scene and the music that followed, you just didn't want to leave your seat for a moment. Very inspirational because although your heart breaks for the horrible tragedies that happened, it is so heartwarming and uplifting and some good does prevail in the end. I can honestly say that I have never ever seen anything like it. I have had it on tape since 1992 and there are times I will put it on and watch it because it is just so powerful and sometimes I just need a good healthy cry. It is not all about tears and it is well put together but I would have to question anyone that was not emotional over this. Excellent movie. Must see! February 26, 2002

Hello. The movie Switched at Birth was a very emotional movie, that I really enjoyed. I think that this should be a 5 star movie because it was suspenceful in a good way. Always kept me wondering what was going to happen next, and was a one that kept you watching. This is also a great movie because it can be watched by everyone in the family not just the Grownups in the household. My children also loved it we saw it at a relatives house and whenever my children go over there they always want to watch it. This is a great movie for all ages. July 2, 2000
