This is a nice family movie that is worthwhile watching more than once not only by its great music but by Clifton Webb's acting. I hope to be able sometime within the near future to obtain a copy in DVD format. July 9, 2008

Sousa made me feel love for your Country and your music

I saw this film when I was really young and adored it ! The story and specially, the music. A great film and as I can remember, it made me feel the proud you feel about the U.S.A.The love story that you can almost touch between Sousa and his wife, simply wonderful. I am from South America but a great fan of films from the golden age and think this is one of the most wonderful films I've ever seen ! I have the CD, so, I can hear the music, but I am waiting for the DVD in order to enjoy the movie once more !

Stars and Stripes Forever

This movie is one of the great musicals to date. The music is incredible and the actors are very good. I would reccommend this to every Ameerican, especially those who are patriotic. November 5, 2007

Semper-Fi Mac

I'm a retired G. I. and realy enjoy this brand of music. I own the VHS version of this extrodinary film. My question is why not on D V D ???? May 4, 2007
