Jason and the Argonauts is great screenwriting along with a character driven story, many of whom are the Gods of Olympus, presiding over Jason who goes on a journey to recover the Golden Fleece to restore his nation's confidence. There are lots of goodies here, from moving metal statues, giant lizards and hydras to the superb skeleton warrior finale that blew everybody away when it was first shown. There are some nice surprise twists and turns in store. You will watch this time and time again. Great entertainment through and through and a triumph for special effects. May 10, 2008
